I have owned and operated The Mind’s Eye since 1989. I have been a hand-quilter
for several decades and find the move into Custom Machine Quilting to be a natural
step. In early 2008, I made a further step into Sales & Education for American Professional Quilting Systems (APQS).
I am an active member of the
American Quilter's Society (AQS), the
International Machine Quilters Association (IMQA), the Inland Northwest
Machine Quilters (INMQ), and the
Washington State Quilters (WSQ). I am also an active longarm quilter with
Quilts of Valor, a non-profit
organization that provides quilts for wounded servicepeople.
Our studio has always been non-smoking and your quilt will be treated like the precious
piece of art that it is. I pride myself on high-quality workmanship and exceptional
customer service. I will do my very best to provide a prompt turnaround on your
quilt, with the very best quilting available.
In order to provide you with a wide selection of quilting styles, I have studied
under some of the foremost Quilt Educators, including Dawn Cavanaugh, Pam Clarke,
Linda Taylor, Myrna Ficken, Jamie Wallen, Deloa Jones, Suzanne Earley, Irena Bluhm,
Sue Patten, Sally Terry & Karen McTavish, to list just a few. I continue to
attend specialized Continuing Education Classes at Quilt Conferences across the
country.
I guarantee the quality of my work and will gladly provide references from satisfied
customers upon request.
